Q: When does online registration close:
A;11:59 p.m. Saturday, April 28. If you want to sign up race day, come see us in the Waldo Mart Parking Lot (near 75th and Wornall Roads) starting at 6 a.m. See more info below.
Q: Where is Packet Pickup located?
A: You’ll find us in the Ward Parkway Center (8600 Ward Parkway) inside next to Kay Jewelers. Use the State Line Road parking lot and enter near Starbucks. Our hours are:
Thursday, April 26: 3:00-7:00pm
Friday, April 27: 11:00am-6:00pm
Saturday April 28: 10:00am-3:00pm
Q: Can I pick up my packet on race day? Is there race day registration?
A: Yes. We offer limited race day packet pick up in the SE parking lot at 75th and Wornall (near Firestone). We offer race day registration for $50 but please know you are not guaranteed a t-shirt or to be in the results immediately following the race.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We'll get wet. Just kidding -- we run rain or shine. In the event the weather is too dangerous for running, we make that call after holding for up to one hour. There are no refunds. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for any race day announcements.
Q: How do I get to the Start Line?
A: We bus our runners from the Plaza up to our Start Line beginning at 5:45am. Arrive early to catch a bus, especially if you are an elite runner. We start our race at 7:45 a.m. Check out the map in the Runner Handbook for exact pick up location.
Q: Tell me about the pace groups and hold and release start.
A: When you arrive at the start line, look for the pacers (wearing orange shirts and carrying pace flags with anticipated pace per mile) and line up with your pace. Then, a team will hold and release groups of approximately 400 at a time. Remember, your time doesn't start until you cross the start line timing mat.
Q: May I run with a stroller?
A: You may WALK with a stroller in the walking pace group. This is a safety issue, and we appreciate you helping us keep Trolley Run safe for all participants.
Q: May I run with a pet?
A: No, the only animals allowed on the course are seeing eye dogs.
Q: Do I have to wear my race bib?
A: Yes! Your timing chip is in your bib so in order for you to be timed, you need to wear your bib. In addition, you can use your bib number to find your photos online after the race. Photo will be posted here: https://www.ultramaxsportsphotos.com/2018-Trolley-Run
